RTAB: the Rayleigh scattering database CONTENTS | NEXT SECTION
RTAB data files are available at:
Abstract and dedicationSystematic tabulations of differential scattering cross sections for all atoms for photon energies 0.0543-2754.1 keV in various approximations are available, with a focus on the S-matrix approach of Kissel and Pratt. Tabulations are also available of: anomalous scattering factors for 0-10 MeV; total-atom, shell and subshell form factors; bound-bound oscillator strengths; total-atom, shell and subshell photoeffect cross sections; and Dirac-Slater potentials. Accurate interpolation of S-matrix cross sections to intermediate energies is investigated. Selected computer codes that generate or use these data are described. These data are dedicated to Professor Richard H. Pratt. A special symposium was held at the University of Pittsburgh, on October 30, 1999, in celebration of his retirement from the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Pittsburgh. RTAB was created in honor of Professor Pratt for this special event.
